Toronto the Brutal explores themes of dystopia, surveillance, and urban trepidation through a speculative reimagining of the city’s brutalist architecture. I present the viewer with an ominous vision of the city’s future, in which brutalism becomes imposed onto the city as its defining architectural characteristic.
